Pearl joined Bindmans in September 2006 as a paralegal in the Crime department. In March 2007 she joined the Media and Public Law department and went on to become a trainee in that department.
During her training contract she particularly enjoyed her seat in the Clinical Negligence and the Personal Injury department. Following qualification in March 2010 she spent 7 months in the Crime department and then returned to the Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury department in October 2010. Her current caseload includes road traffic accidents, accidents at work and clinical negligence cases.
Before starting her training contract Pearl spent the summer in Kingston, Jamaica, volunteering at the Independent Jamaican Council for Human Rights on various cases which included civil actions on behalf of those injured by police or prison wardens. She has previously volunteered at UK law centres and on various refugee rights projects. She currently enjoys mentoring for Kids Company.
Pearl graduated from Sussex University with a BA in Contemporary History and African and Asian Studies in 2004, before which she worked as a trainee tax accountant at Ernst & Young.
Pearl is a member of the Association for Personal Injury Lawyers and Amnesty International.
